In her presentation, “Opportunities for Peace in a Changing Climate”, Janani Vivekananda discusses the linkages between climate change and conflict, and outlines five pathways by which climate change can compound conflict and hinder peace. By understanding these pathways, we can also discern the entry points to tackling these joint risks of climate change and conflict and, in doing so, yield this double dividend of peace and climate resilience.
