Kevin Clements │ Toda Peace Institute Panel Discussion │ 20 Feb 2024

February 20, 2024

Professor Kevin Clements opens the panel discussion by outlining the global polycrisis which challenges every country: Inequality, the after effects of Covid19, stagflation, rising food prices, geopolitical conflict, political instability, polarization and a shift globally towards autocracy, and extreme weather events. How can we generate optimism and hope to challenge a paralyzing present? How are the Toda Peace Institute programs grappling with these challenges?

This presentation was part of a Panel Discussion with an invited audience, recorded in Tokyo on 20 February 2024, and hosted by the Toda Peace Institute.
