Professor Kevin Clements opens the 2025 Toda Peace Institute public seminar by introducing the top issues that have been identified by world leaders as cause for concern: state-based armed conflict, extreme weather events, geo-economic confrontation, misinformation and disinformation, societal polarization, economic downturn, and critical change to earth systems.
