Nabil Al-Bukairi is a Yemeni writer and researcher interested in issues of Islamic and Western political thought, democratic transition, and human rights. He has for two decades produced a number of refereed articles and single-authored books. He has participated as a speaker in many international and Arab research centers and media platforms He founded the Arab Forum for Studies and Research in Sana’a in 2012 and is the editor-in-chief of ‘The Intellectual Approaches Journal’.
He contributed to the establishment of ‘The Bab Al-Mandab Centre for Strategic and Regional Studies’ in 2020. He has also participated in many international conferences, workshops and seminars on religious groups, democracy, human rights, religion and secularism.
