Katerina Standish is an Associate Professor of Global and International Studies and Vice Provost of Graduate and Post-doc Studies at the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada. Dr Standish was previously the Director of the Arthur V. Mauro Institute for Peace & Justice at St. Paul’s College and Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago in Aotearoa/New Zealand. She has a postgraduate teaching and supervision background encompassing Western and Indigenous research paradigms and is the author/editor of seven books covering suicide, conflict transformation, education, human rights, community building, gender, genocide, and transformative research. Dr. Standish is a Certified Conflict Coach (CCI), Editor-In-Chief of the Peace Review: Journal of Social Justice (Routledge) and senior editor for the Palgrave Handbook of Positive Peace (Palgrave MacMillan).
