Jorge Hersschens is currently a member of the peace movement Pax Christi Vlaanderen’s working group International Security and Disarmament. He has a master’s degree in English Language and Literature from St Andrews University (Scotland) and in Political Science from Antwerp University (Belgium), and intends to start a PhD in political science next year at the University of Antwerp on the topic of European disintegration.
