Jamie Tarawa is the UNDP Climate Security Advisor to the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, seconded via the UN Climate Security Mechanism. He has worked on environmental security across the Asia-Pacific through INTERPOL’s Environmental Security Programme, and across intelligence, law enforcement and specialised environmental agencies within the New Zealand Government. Jamie holds a Master’s degree in International Security from Massey University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology and Human Geography from Victoria University of Wellington.
