Halvard Buhaug (halvard@prio.org) is Research Professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo and Professor of political science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He leads two collaborative research projects on climate change and security, funded by the Research Council of Norway (grant no. 268135/E10) and the European Research Council (grant no. 648291).
