Davis Smith is a Senior Digital Collaboration Associate for Common Good AI. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill in 2023 with a degree in Computer Science. Before transferring to UNC, Davis attended Samford University in Birmingham, AL where he completed the University Fellows honours program, a “Great Books” curriculum focused on primary source readings and Socratic seminar discussion. Davis is also an avid sailor; he was a sailing instructor for six summers in North Carolina and most recently taught offshore sailing in the Lesser Antilles.
