David Atwood has worked in various capacities with the Small Arms Survey since 2012. His work has focused on small arms issues for more than 20 years, particularly international policy development.
Dr. Atwood is a former Director of the Quaker United Nations Office in Geneva, where he also served as Representative for Disarmament and Peace from 1995 to 2011. He holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of North Carolina and an MA from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies.
