Anna Gero is a climate change adaptation researcher and current PhD candidate focused on plural worldviews and inclusive approaches to navigating complex environmental challenges. With 17 years’ experience working on Pacific adaptation and resilience issues, she has collaborated with governments, communities, regional organisations and civil society to support locally grounded, context-sensitive responses to climate change. Anna’s research examines the value of diverse knowledge systems and cross-sector partnerships in shaping more just and effective adaptation outcomes. Anna brings a strong track record of research and policy engagement, with a commitment to amplifying local perspectives in global sustainability conversations.
