Anna Anisi is a graduate of the University of the South Pacific (Suva, Fiji) and Albert Ludwigs University (Freiburg, Germany). She holds a BA in Environmental Studies, Postgraduate Dip. in Development Studies and MSc in Environmental Governance. Her specific research interests include adaptation governance and global environmental and development politics. Beyond her research interests she is an adamant supporter of environmental and social justice movements and advocacy campaigns. Mrs. Anisi was previously engaged as Programme Manager, Project Officer, and Researcher Assistant at the Institute for Mission and Research of the Pacific Theological College based in Suva, Fiji, and has contributed to research projects looking into the development of Christianity in the Pacific region and strengthening ecumenical relations. She was also involved in the delivery of capacity building trainings in the Pacific region in areas of leadership and management and social analysis. Mrs. Anisi is currently doing an internship in the field of international humanitarian assistance at Caritas international based in Freiburg, Germany.
