Louise Wiuff Moe

Dr. Louise Wiuff Moe is a research associate at the University of Hamburg, as part of the Cluster of Excellence “Climate, Climatic Change, and Society (CLICCS).” Her research combines theoretical and empirical perspectives on peace and security governance, with regional expertise on Sub-Saharan Africa, and a special focus on Somaliland for more than a decade. Her recent work explores interactions between climate change and dynamics of (in)security; changing norms and practices of military interventionism; the renaissance of counterinsurgency; inter-organisational conflict and collaboration in peace operations in Africa and; comparative perspectives on South-South security collaboration.
